I was going to leave this post at that.  A lot of stuff has occurred, mostly personal, even more observations, and enough sleepless nights to give me bags under my eyes.  Yes, that bad.

One more hurdle, God willing, and then I’ll be back to normal.

whatever normal is. questionable this term ‘normal’.

there is a fantastic spring being put on by Mother Nature outside, and I am aching to go out & get a closer look with my cam!

The old dog barks backward without getting up.
I can remember when he was a pup.

from whence we came…adam & eve

It all began with a detailed study of Milton’s Paradise Lost, which details Adam and Eve’s being thrown out of  Eden and  Satan’s drop into  fiery Hell. I do not think I can do justice to how intriguing Milton’s depiction is, so I will instead recommend you pick up a copy a.s.a.p.  I am reading and understanding Adam’s address to Eve today, and during my research came across some pretty interesting related reads.

There is the unparalleled John Steinbeck and his ‘East of Eden’, with the following being the quirky tidbit:

Steinbeck states about East of Eden: “It has everything in it I have been able to learn about my craft or profession in all these years.” He further claimed: “I think everything else I have written has been, in a sense, practice for this.”
