I just read about The Musalmaan, which is apparently the last completely handwritten newspaper in the entire world!  The paper is based in the Indian city of Chennai, and was established pre-Partition in 1927.

Did you know Bernie Mac passed away this Saturday? (R.I.P.)  It was a shock to the say the least. I loved his brand of clear, honest humor and his ability to refer to himself in third-person.

What else, what else, what else…Oh yeah! It been raining cats and dogs in Lahore for the past few days. The rainfall has apparently broken a twenty-plus year old record in the region. Which translates into flooded basements, fear of electrocution while at the local super-mart buying cat food, and nasty flies that insist on playing tag with your forehead. *sigh* Not fun.
